With reference to the statement made in Parliament by Hon. Gevindu Kumaratunga MP on 28.08.2020, Transparency International Sri Lanka wishes to note that there are no employees of the organisation who are jointly employed by the Sri Lanka Parliament or who were present at the induction workshop for new members of parliament. Furthermore, as a leading public advocacy group on anti-corruption and governance in Sri Lanka, evidenced by our work on Open Government and Right to Information, TISL remains committed to serve the public interest.
