Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) has filed a Right to Information request with the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) calling on the authority to publicise the manner in which approvals were granted for the Chinese manufactured Sinopharm COVID19 vaccine.

The RTI calls on the NMRA to release a certified copy of the meeting minutes of the NMRA, in which a decision was reached to grant approval to provide the Sinopharm vaccine to Chinese nationals living in Sri Lanka.

TISL has also called for the release of the technical evaluation report by the NMRA experts committee on the Sinopharm vaccine.

ට්‍රාන්ස්පේරන්සි ඉන්ටනැෂනල් ශ්‍රී ලංකා ආයතනය(TISL), ජාතික ඖෂධ නියාමන අධිකාරිය (NMRA) වෙත තොරතුරු දැනගැනීමේ ඉල්ලුම්පතක් යොමු කරමින්,චීනයේ නිෂ්පාදිත සිනොෆාම් කොවිඩ් 19 එන්නත සඳහා අනුමැතිය ලබා දීමේ ක්‍රමවේදය ප්‍රසිද්ධියට පත් කරන ලෙස ඉල්ලා සිටියා.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ජීවත් වන චීන ජාතිකයින්ට සිනොෆාම් එන්නත සැපයීම සඳහා අනුමැතිය ලබා දීමට තීරණය ගත්,ජාතික ඖෂධ නියාමන අධිකාරියේ රැස්වීම් වාර්තාවේ සහතික කළ පිටපතක් නිකුත් කරන ලෙස ද TISL ආයතනය ඉල්ලා සිටියා.

TISL ආයතනය තවදුරටත්, සිනොෆාම් එන්නත පිලිබඳ ජාතික ඖෂධ නියාමන අධිකාරියේ විශේෂඥ කමිටු තාක්‍ෂණික ඇගයීම් වාර්තාව ද නිකුත් කරන මෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියා.

சினோபார்ம் தடுப்பூசி தொடர்பாக NMRA நிபுணர் குழுவின் தொழில்நுட்ப மதிப்பீட்டு அறிக்கையை வெளியிடுமாறு TISL நிறுவனமானது மேலும் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது.
