On the 3rd of April, Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) conducted a webinar on the the use of Data in journalism.

Among the topics covered during the webinar were the proposed Data Protection bill of Sri Lanka, the use of RTIs, and investigative journalism. The panelists that took part in the webinar include Attorney-at-Law Sanduni Wickramasinghe, Investigative Journalist and researcher Amantha Perera and TISL’s Deputy Executive Director Attorney-at-Law Sankhitha Gunaratne.
