Sessions online make better voters: CAFFE
The Campaign for Free and Fair Elections (CAFFE) said yesterday that Members of Parliament who were well-spoken and did vast amounts of research prior to parliamentary sessions should receive maximum exposure through a live broadcast of the Parliamentary sessions via the internet.
CAFFE Director, Keerthi Tennakoon said MP’s both in the ruling party as well as the opposition who were good speakers in parliament do not receive enough attention. He said that they would get the attention they deserved if voters were allowed to watch parliamentary sessions live online.
