A silent protest (sathyagraha) and seminar aimed at forcing the authorities to find out Prageeth Eknaligoda will be held on August 10, 2010.

The silent protest  and the seminar is organized by Alliance of Media organizations to mark the 200 days since the involuntary disappearance of media personal Prageeth Eknaligoda.  The protest will be held at 3.00 p.m. in the Viharamahadevi Park (In front of Town Hall) followed by the Seminar which will be held at 4.00 p.m. in the Public Library’s Auditorium.

Media organizations, Trade unions, Political party representatives and the Civil society organizations will present under their banners on this event.
