Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy for Service Providers
Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) is the National Chapter of Transparency International (TI), the leading global movement against corruption committed to promoting good governance and eradicating corruption in Sri Lanka. Envisioning a nation that upholds integrity, TISL has a zero tolerance to any form of bribery or corruption and adheres to a strict anti-bribery and corruption policy in its work with all institutions and service providers, in order to carry out their functions in the same manner, upholding high standards of integrity and transparency.
Whistleblowing Policy
This Policy encourages and support employees and others to come forward and voice serious concerns about any aspect of TISL operations without fear of victimization, discrimination or disciplinary action from TISL. Whistleblowing is viewed by TISL as an important practice in the fight against corruption.
The Integrity Pledge and the Guiding Principles & Code of Conduct
Integrity pledge: As an organization with a mission to work towards combatting corruption in Sri Lanka, Transparency International Sri Lanka promotes the value of integrity among all actors across different sectors. Therefore, it is paramount that staff members of TISL uphold integrity at all times, making it a life trait.
Code of Conduct and Guiding Principles: Staff members, who are the key ambassadors of TISL are expected to uphold the values of transparency, accountability and integrity in work and at all times. Towards this, the Guiding Principles provides overall guidance on approaching work and external stakeholders, while the Code of Conduct provides specific guidance on the expected conduct from a staff member.
