Narthana Wevita, holds a bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of London. Currently pursuing her attorneys at Sri Lanka Law College. She has been a past President of the Rotaract Club of CfPS Law School and was also a director of the National Chapter of the Asian Law Students’ Association.
She was an intern at the Ministry of Justice, being a part of the committee for ‘small claims court’ as a research assistant.

During her free time, she coaches debating and mooting teams on school and university level. Also watches movies and reads books. Loves to travel and experience different cultures of the world.

She’s passionate about achieving lasting social change and volunteers in different capacities to bring about change in the society. She is the Head of Media, Events and Partnerships at the Yeheliya Foundation, an organization that works towards achieving equality in the society. As their signature project ‘Diyawannawa Tharanaya’, their main goal was to increase female representation in governance and all decision-making bodies.

During her tenure at TISL, she wishes to fight corruption and bring about the ethical change that we are in dire need!
