The project titled “Ensuring Electoral Integrity in the Electoral Process through Independent Election Observation and Remedial Action” was designed by TISL to contribute towards a free and fair Parliamentary election by increasing citizens’ understanding of democratic rights and civic responsibilities and advocate for stronger measures to ensure electoral integrity through short and long term election observation and remedial action.
TISL is the main applicant of the project implementation while PAFFREL and CaFFE are working as the sub recipient of this project. All three organizations are responsible to deploy the proposed activities and all activities are supporting to achieve the overall objectives of the project. The areas of focus include election monitoring, voter education, media training on election reporting, strengthening electoral practices and regulations, increasing women’s participation in politics and contributing to ongoing governance discourse. The project is financially supported by the European Union.
